While all yoga is therapeutic and healing, specialized yoga involves the specific application of yogic tools—postures/exercises, breath work, meditation techniques, and more—to address an individual’s physical, mental, and emotional needs.
Specialized yoga can help people who can’t move at all, as well as active individuals. A session, whether one-to-one or in a small group, is tailored to the individual and addresses your specific goals while considering any limitations you might be experiencing.
Stefanie Juon, BCND, HHP, EYT, has been teaching for fifteen years, and practicing for nineteen. She has immersed herself in several styles and teaching methods over the years to bring fresh and innovative classes to her students. Her passion is to help her students discover themselves in each pose; finding a renewed sense of self and creating true change in their hearts, minds, and bodies.

Disclaimer:
Yoga is for everyone. However, when online, it is up to the individual to assess whether they are ready for the class that they have chosen. Obviously, if you suffer from specific injuries or disease it is best to consult with your physician first. Similarly if you are pregnant, follow the recommended practice only. The practice of yoga asanas requires you – the practitioner – to gauge the safety of your practice within your personal physical limitations. It is better to build up slowly than to force and strain. Whilst one may feel exertion one should also feel relaxed. The discussions, techniques and suggestions presented in this website/videos are not intended to substitute for proper medical advice, are not intended as diagnosis, prescription, or treatment for any disease, physical or mental. It is also not intended as a substitute for regular medical care. Consult your physician before beginning any new exercise program. HBD, LLC and it’s teachers (Stefanie Juon) assumes no responsibility for injuries suffered while practicing these techniques.
