My personal/professional opinion on the scores are as follows: This app is really useful in figuring out whether a product is truly nasty or not, but sometimes it will give a product a bad rating because it contains a natural essential oil that could irritate the skin etc. It's certainly helpful for recognizing harsh chemicals, or more precisely, things you shouldn't put on or in your body, but ultimately, just use your best judgment. - SJ
