About

Hi, I’m Stefanie — founder of Wholistic Livin, a holistic health practitioner who helps people reconnect to their foundational health and restore their detox pathways so they can feel at home in their own body again.

My journey began in 2007 as both a yoga instructor and clinical medical assistant, where I quickly learned that traditional medicine and holistic healing each offer something the other cannot. After facing my own early health challenges, I realized I would need to become my own advocate and pursue a more integrative path. This led me to become a Certified Holistic Health Practitioner in 2011 and later to the Doctor of Naturopathy program at Trinity School of Natural Health, where I deepened my understanding of the body’s interconnected systems.

My passion for natural skincare started long before my degrees — at age sixteen, mixing homemade formulations in my kitchen and studying the microbiome before it was ever trendy. Years later, after extensive research, training, and trial-and-error, I created the Hydro-Line with Antioxidants, a cold-pressed, naturally preserved skincare system designed to protect and strengthen the skin’s microbiota.

But while I was building my professional life, my personal life was marked by profound physical trials.

In 2014, I underwent open-heart surgery and faced complications that sent me to the ICU. Recovery was grueling, both emotionally and physically. Just one year later — on the exact anniversary — my subclavian vein collapsed during a yoga photoshoot. Emergency surgery followed, including the removal of my first rib. Healing was long, painful, and humbling. I returned to teaching with limited arm mobility and the affectionate nickname “the one-armed yoga teacher,” a reminder that resilience often grows out of what feels like breaking.

And then came the greatest turning point of all.

Years of trauma, stress, anxiety, environmental toxins, and unresolved wounds slowly filled my “toxin bucket” until my body could no longer carry the load. Mold exposure became the tipping point — the moment everything overflowed. My nervous system crashed, my gut collapsed, my skin flared, my mind spiraled, and my body felt like it was shutting down one system at a time.

Doctors told me my labs were normal, but deep down I knew something was terribly wrong.

In my darkest season — physically, emotionally, spiritually — God met me there.

He didn’t remove the storm instantly, but He guided me through it.

Each layer of healing became a lesson.

Each setback became a redirection.

Each breakthrough became a reminder that my body wasn’t failing — it was speaking.

That season ignited a deeper purpose in me:

to help others understand their symptoms, uncover root causes, restore their gut–skin–brain connection, and detox gently and safely — especially when they feel alone, dismissed, or overwhelmed.

Everything I teach comes from lived experience, formal training, and the belief that healing is never one-dimensional — it’s physical, emotional, spiritual, and environmental.

Wholistic Livin exists because I never want anyone to walk through what I went through without direction, validation, or hope.

You’re not broken.

Your symptoms are not random.

And you’re not alone 💛
